"So you get in for free?"
"Yes"
"And what's the catch?"
"There is no catch, we just know the right people"
"You mean we know Stevie?"
"Yes"
"Stevie the man who always makes you pay?"
"Yes"
"That's ok then. Have you seen my lipstick anywhere?"
"I think I saw the cat chewing on it before"
"You did?"
"No, I said it to make conversation. I got the feeling we were coming
to a bit of a standstill. I did tell you I hated silence before, blame
it on my parents, they were obsessed with solitude."
"So where is the lipstick?"
"I've no idea, it wasn't a very nice shade anyway. How about going au
naturel today?"
"Oh no, it's far too cold and besides I'm not sure I've managed to get
all that hagen das off my belly. It's damned stubborn stuff when it
takes hold."
"That is a good point, people may mistake it for icecream"
"Exactly, imagine what they would say. People have a very vivid
imagination. I'm not going to get away with saying that it happened
when I was distracted by Bob Holness forever now am I?"
"I would never tire of hearing you say it though."
"That's not quite the same thing now is it Simon?"
"I guess not."
"So. Lipstick?"
"No, no no. We really don't have time to?"
"It's here. Ok we're ready?"
"We're ready. Let's go"
